Push your chest bone back and relax your shoulders.  Keep staying that way for a few minutes and try not to slouch.  Stay upright and maintain your posture.

 

Get in a quiet place and read a good book.

 

Give hugs to people every day.  Tell them how much you appreciate them.  This type of affection will do wonders for you and them.

 

Prayer changes things.  That is the truth.  People can learn to pray on a daily basis.  Pray for positive things.  Pray for things to change in your life for the better.  You can’t just do it one day and think that things will change overnight.  In some cases it takes months.

 

You have to keep doing it until you see results.Even after that, you should continue to pray about everything that has caused you stress and frustration in the past.  Prayer can take a lot off your shoulders.

 

You should make time to incorporate some of these into your daily lifestyle.They are not difficult to do making your life much easier.

To give an example, a study performed in 2000 examined patients over a four year period and demonstrated that the greater the number of apnea episodes they experienced during the first year the greater was the risk of developing high blood pressure by the third or fourth year. Even in those who snored or who experienced mild sleep apnea there was a weak but nonetheless higher than normal link with high blood pressure.

In the past the link between hypertension and sleep apnea was thought to be strongly connected to obesity. However recent studies are pointing to the fact that high blood pressure is seen especially in those who suffer from sleep apnea regardless of what their weight is.

Blood pressure has an effect on sleep apnea simply because it changes tremendously during repeated sleep apnea episodes. These fluctuations are also associated with changes in the form of sudden surges that occur within the sympathetic nervous system. This system controls involuntary muscles and most importantly those in the blood vessels and heart. It is strongly believed that as time passes these variations could play an important role in the development of permanent and long term hypertension.

Bed bugs it seems are rearing their ugly little heads again and are making an unwelcome return to our homes and also hotels. We are not just talking really rough hotels and poorer properties, they have also stamped their mark on even the more upmarket accommodation. 

These small insects are oval shaped and a reddish brown colour. They have no wings and survive from living off the blood of humans and also animals. 

They get the name of “bed bugs” from the fact that they are most commonly found in mattresses, carpets and even crevices in wooden furniture. They come out after dark and so this is when they tend to come out to bite! 

These creatures travel really well and often stow away in luggage and clothing. Most places that see a large number of travellers passing through are quite susceptible and they are not fussy as to who their hosts are, they could be wealthy people, pilots or business travellers who can unbeknown to them be carriers. 

When checking into a hotel it is always wise to check the bed first. 

Take a look particularly underneath the mattress and along the seams. Don’t forget to take a good look in cracks on wooden furniture in the room. They are large enough to see with the human eye and its also quite easy to spot their droppings which could be tinged with blood. 

You would know if you are bitten because tiny red and itchy welts appear on the skin. It is not a nice thought to be bitten whilst you are sleeping, however it can be treated fairly easily with topical ointments or corticosteroids. 

The main thing to do is thoroughly check your bed and if you are unlucky enough to have an infestation then there are pest control companies who specialise in treating the problem.
