lose 20 pounds fast

Hello-

When it comes to losing 10, 20, or 30 pounds, there is no shortage of ways to do it - you have so many choices of diets to choose from, workout programs to choose from, diet pills to choose from, and the list goes on and on.

It seems like there’s a new crazy diet plan everyday.

It would be impossible to keep up with them all.

There is no one “best way to lose 20 pounds” out there. There are hundreds of ways to lose weight.

We are all unique and there are many factors that go into losing weight and keeping it off.  What works for me may not work for you.

All that being said, there are a few common denominators that must be included in any effort to shed some flab.

You have to have the right mindset going in.  You must make a firm commitment to yourself that no matter what happens throughout your daily life, you will stick to your plan.

You have to be mentally tough and resolved to do what you need to do to and avoid doing things that add weight - such as overeating.

Losing weight is easier than keeping it off.  That’s why there are so many popular diet pills out there.  They can help you drop 20 pounds in a month but once you stop taking them, the weight will slowly start to come back on and then it’s on to the next new diet pill.

What does it take to lose 20 pounds fast?

You have to set a goal that is realistic.  You cannot lose 20 pounds in 10 days.  For one, that works out to 2 pounds a day and that is too much strain on your body too fast.  Whatever method you chose to drop that much weight that fast is not maintainable.  The weight WILL come back.

You have to modify your lifestyle for the longterm.  Most people don’t like the word change.  Well screw that.  In order to go from fat to thin, you are going to have to change some, if not most, of the things you do.

Some of the lifestyle changes you will need to make are eating less, eating smaller meals more often, not drinking sodas, and adding some activity (walking, running, resistance training, yoga).

If you’re still reading this then you’re off to a good start.

Now stop reading and take a walk.
