Need to lose 20 pounds fast and healthy by dec. 15 what food shouls I eat and what shouldn't I eat?

I'm currently 27 years old, 5'5, 153 pounds
Well you should eat fiber and protein rich foods like: eggs, apples, carrots, oatmeal, milk, soy-milk, tofu, well anything in produce-except potatoes, dark chocolate(the very high % kind), and very lean meat-like tuna. Also drink a lot of water and tea cause they help to rid your body of toxins. What you shouldn't eat are: anything in the snack food unless- it is baked, stay away from soda-all kinds even diet, also stay away from energy drinks-if you are in need of energy drink a cup of coffee or tea, although somethings say fat free- they are not healthy cause there is extra sweetener in them, stay away from fatty meats like ham. if u can afford it, u should start shopping at an organic store. i hear the food just does wonders for the body. second, get rid of snacks and other junk/fatty foods. eat at least a salad a day and portion out ur meals to 6 in dividual ones and be sure to do at least a half hour of cardio every day or every other day. that should help boost ur metabolism to dropping pounds. i would say splurge off the diet for thanksgiving day and christmas dinner but do ur best to eat healthier food inbetween. good luck to u!

I'm also losing weight and I don't eat anything fried anymore unless it's my one day a week where I allow myself to have something I have cut out. If you have to drink sodas, make sure it's diet and cut out the fast food restaurants unless you can only get a healthy salad as a meal. What I do is ride my exercise bike for 30 minutes a day. I drink tons of water. Yes, you'll go to the bathroom a lot, but that is how weight is lost.. by going to the bathroom. Seems strange, but I heard it one time on the Today Show. I eat a low cal breakfast (oatmeal), then have a morning snack like a banana about three hours after breakfast. Lunch usually is a salad, but I don't use salad dressing because I don't like it. Feel free to use the fat free stuff if you have to, or buy those spritzers that are only about 5 calories a serving. I'll have a healthy afternoon snack, then at dinner, again, something healthy like grilled chicken breasts, skin off. You don't want to cook with heavy cream or anything like that. Cut back on your portions. I buy the pre-made Jello cups too. Sugar free ones are only 10 calories. Watch out for the 100 calorie snacks, because some of them are too high in fat to eat. I try to eat snacks with 5% saturated fat in it. I lost 16 pounds in the first month just by going with what I told you. I'm a stress eater, so it's harder on me to resist temptation, but I know that I'm only going to lose the weight with hard work and determination. Good luck with your weight loss!

At least you are looking down the road more than just a week. Depending on were you live, I would begin with stop all or as much of the junk food. As in soda stick with water or fruit juices. If you can walk more than drive a car, ride a bike if you can get to the same place and weather permitting. We live more or less in the country and wife has went from riding about 1 mile to 16 in 6 months. She has also lost from 175 to 125 in the same amount of time. Now this part I do not like but she does and that is she takes them darn diet pills. Sid she was going to cut back, and I just let her go with it, I know it is not good but she is over 18. A woman in charge of her own destiny. i have enough of my own to deal with. If you go out to eat alone, after you order(or when) have them put at least half in a to go box. If someone is with you share it. One way you cut back on the amount you eat and there is less waste. It is also given you a chance to get to know the other person and spend time with them, you save money. If you are able get a small ladder, climb up maybe three or four steps and back down. it will work.

Cut out greasy foods, start walking in the am before work. Drink more water. Dont skip meals thats a big no-no, Portion control, instead of 3 big meals try 5-6 smaller ones filled with good for you veggies, fruits, nuts, yogurts.
