How long does it take to get a six pack?
OK, you have set yourself the target of getting a six pack, now you thave to set yourself smaller achievable goals. This is how to get a six pack fast because without smaller, measurable targets your main objective of getting rock solid abs is maybe doomed to failure before you have even started.
What should I eat while working out?
Protein and lots of it. Say so long to pizza, chinese takeaway and the like if you are serious about getting a six pack. Foods like egg whites, grilled chicken, lean red beef, tuna and other fish should be your staple diet from this point on. Oh and eat your veg too. They’re loaded in important vitamins and fill you up so you don’t want a candy bar to eat inbetween meals.
What sort of exercises should I be doing?
Never just target on your ab muscles when working out as this can cause you to end up with a flat, odd looking six pack when viewed from the side. This is known as aerobic abs and you don’t need these, trust me!
You really want to be doing a wide variation of exercises that works all of your core group muscles.
Should I be working out each and every day?
Depends how fit you are already. If you’re just starting out then no, workout every other day. If you are a regular at the gymnasium or on the road then yes, if you should happen to feel up to it go for it.
Which of those ab machines shown on TV should I buy?
Like blowing your hard earned dollars do you? It’s impossible to spot target fat so just get used to it. Get a good set of quality dumbells and a pull up bar that fits in your door and you are set to go. The ab machine that may remove fat from your stomach still has to be invented.
Do I have to join a gymnasium to get a six pack?
Of course not unless you actually wanted to. I always suggest my clients work out at home to start out with. Later as they progress I then suggest a pay as you go gymnasium membership and then finally only sign up to a contract if they’re sure they’re going to keep at it and get full use of their membership.
Will protein supplements help me get a six pack?
It is really important to realize that there is no silver bullet to weight loss or muscle building but a top-notch protein supplement can help your six pack progress. Ensure you use whey isolate protein as it is the purer form and is far more effective than the concentrate stuff that is in the majority of the protein powders on the present market.
